The Fair salutes seniors and the young at heart on Thursdays with a program
of special concerts, contests, activities and events. This year’s
entertainment line-up on the San Diego Showcase stage stars Grammy Award-winning
crooner Jack Jones, the chart-topping 5th Dimension pop music group and Lawrence
Welk TV show star Jo Ann Castle. Contest categories include most grandchildren,
oldest participant, contestant from the farthest away and longest marriage.
Winners take home Fair souvenir merchandise as prizes.
